The projects may involve collaborations with partner hospitals (Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust) and universities (Harvard, MIT, Stanford, Cambridge). PhD Scholarships
One PhD studentship in optical sensors by the Department of Chemical Engineering is available, with tuition fees and living stipend fully covered. It is open to all applicants including overseas students. Only applicants with an outstanding academic track record will be considered. Candidates will be considered until the position is filled.
The Centre for Biochemical Sensors will support applications for Department of Chemical Engineering PhD studentships, Imperial College President's PhD Scholarship, Imperial Marshall Scholarship Scheme (US citizens), Imperial College and China Scholarship Council PhD Programme (CSC-Imperial PhD scholarship), CSC PhD scholarships (Chinese applicants can also apply for full PhD scholarships that cover tuition fees via their universities in China, or Chinese embassy in the UK).

Postdoctoral Research Associate Positions and Fellowships
A postdoctoral research associate position in biochemical sensors funded by the Department of Chemical Engineering is open. Successful postdoctoral candidates are expected to have a strong publication record in biosensors, biomedical engineering, optics or chemistry. Good communication skills and work ethics are required. Only applicants with an outstanding publication record will be considered. The Centre for Biochemical Sensors will support postdoctoral researchers for application for the Marie Curie Fellowships, Royal Academy of Engineering Fellowships, Wellcome Trust Fellowships, Newton International Fellowships, Feodor Lynen Research Fellowship (Humbolt Foundation) and China Scholarship Council (CSC).
