Eligibility criteria
This award is only available to successful applicants of the Security and Resilience: Science and Technology MSc course.
The decision is based on excellent academic and professional records, supported by relevant references and a strong personal statement from your course application.
Please note: This scholarship is not available to continuing students.
Application process
Apply to the Security and Resilience: Science and Technology MSc course as usual.
Applicants to the scholarship also need to prepare an application answering the following questions:
1. As part of the MSc, students will complete a three-month project over the summer, focusing on an area within security and resilience. Please write a short summary of an idea you would be interested in pursuing as your long project (please note this does not have to be the project you select when taking the MSc).
2. Describe some of the major challenges or trends to global security and resilience, and add a personal perspective on what you think is not discussed or understood enough?
3. The potential impact of receiving the bursary
Please write a maximum of 500 words per question, and attempt all questions. The scholarship application must be submitted to secres-msc@imperial.ac.uk by 24 May 2024.
Additional information
Up to three scholarships with a value of up to £15,000 each are awarded each year to successful applicants of the Security and Resilience MSc course. These can be put towards your fees and other expenses, and do not have to be paid back.Contact
