Eligibility criteria
- Have been assessed Overseas fee status
- Starting a MRes or PhD Course in October 2024
- Have an offer of study by 1 July 2024.
- Be nominated for the scholarship by the Department by 5 pm on Monday 1 July 2024
Please note: This scholarship is not available to continuing students.
Application process
- Applicants must have received an offer of admission by 1 July 2024.
- Departments will nominate two candidates in July 2024.
Candidates will be notified of an outcome no later than 30 August 2024.

This scholarship provides £10,000 towards accommodation costs- MRes -1 year
- PhD - 3 years
