The decision is based on excellent academic and professional records, supported by relevant references and a strong personal statement from your PhD application. Applicants to the scholarship also need to prepare an application answering the following questions: 1. Please detail how your PhD topic is relevant to current research, and how you believe it will impact the resilience landscape. 2. Describe some of the major challenges or trends to global security and resilience, and add a personal perspective on what you think is not discussed or understood enough? 3.
