Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for this bursary:

  • You must hold an offer for one of the following MSc/MRes programs:
    • Applied Genomics
    • Biomedical Research (all streams)
    • Clinical Research (all pathways)
    • Human Molecular Genetics
    • Reproductive and Developmental Biology
  • You must have accepted the offer and met all conditions of the offer.
  • Only students with Home fee status are eligible.

Please note: This scholarship is not available to continuing students.

Course specific information

This bursary is available for students commencing an MSc/MRes programme in the Department of Metabolism, Digestion and Reproduction 

Application process

Applicants must submit a statement of no more than 500 words outlining:

  1. Why the funding will be beneficial to their studies and how it will help them achieve their academic goals.
  2. How the funding will contribute to their future or ongoing career plans.

The statement should be submitted to the relevant course administrator with:

  • Full name
  • College Identifier Number (CID)
  • ‘MDR funding opportunity’ in the email Subject Line

Evaluation process

  1. Initial eligibility check.
  2. Panel review and evaluation of submitted statements.
