Requesting a deferral
Under exceptional circumstances, you may apply to defer your admission to the next academic year.
Requests to defer admission are considered at the discretion of our academic departments.
Deferral requests are based on a change of circumstance that is outside your control and could not have been foreseen, and that will prevent you from taking up your place at the original course start date.
How to request a deferral
You should contact the academic department you have applied to if you wish to request a deferral.
The department will send you the criteria they will use to consider your request.
