Learning through practice
Learning through practice enables you to have a go at performing and practicing a skill. You learn to adapt your actions to a particular goal, and you use the feedback from your actions to improve your performance.
Feedback may come from self-reflection, peers, teachers, or from the activity itself (such as instant feedback from some online quizzes).
More example activities include:
Using a microscope; operating a flight simulator; public speaking or presenting; computer coding; carrying out a patient examination; performing lab procedures.
I like learning through practice as it helps me to master really important skills. That's how I learnt all the lab procedures – you can't beat hands-on experience. It's fine to make mistakes, too, as that's often when we learn the most."
