Student documentation can be requested and viewed on your My Documents tile of My Imperial. (See more information on what documents are available below.)
Instructions on how to access, print and securely share the documents is available here. If you encounter any issues, you can also visit the Student Hub in person or make a request online to request one of the documents available.
All new and returning students must register online for their course prior to the start of each academic year. You can register for your programme using the My Imperial Student Portal. This is where you can also update your preferred name, contact details such as your address and phone number and emergency contact information. If you are an international student, you will upload your passport and visa information in the appropriate tile on My Imperial.

Statement of Registration
This letter is used to prove you are a student. The letter is available for enrolled students - thus please make sure that you are enrolled on MyImperial before trying to access the letter. You may use this letter for:
- student status proof for landlords, banks, student loans company and sponsors
- travel visa letters/Schengen visa letters
- invitation for family and friends to visit
- Council tax exemption
- Bank Letter*
- internships
- mobile phone or internet contracts
This letter includes your address so please ensure the details are correct on the My Imperial student portal beforehand, including any room or flat number as appropriate.
*If using for a Visa or Bank Letter, we will need to address the letter to the Embassy or Bank branch where you will be opening your account. Please inform us of the full address and we will update this for you.
Transcript
A transcript has all your results for each academic year. This is available for undergraduate and taught postgraduate students. Results are only added to a transcript once an academic year is completed and official marks have been released by Registry.
Statement of Award
Once you have completed your programme, and past students (completed in 2020 onwards), can access a Statement of Award through the portal. This letter confirms your degree and the period of time that you were enrolled at Imperial.

Pay at the Student Hub (South Kensington)
Alternatively, you can pay at the Student Hub by credit or debit card at our South Kensington Hub.
Please note we cannot accept American Express, Diners Club Card, JCB, cash payments, or payments by cheque.
Card payments in person should only be made by the cardholder; proof of the cardholder’s identity (e.g., student ID, passport or driving license) is required prior to making payment. You will also be asked for your student CID and invoice number.
