This course is designed with external information security experts and is designed to provide you with guidance and information in the steps you can take to identify and minimise security risks when dealing with data and information. No prior knowledge is required. The more aware you are of the potential threats to information security, the more likely you will be able to spot and prevent it before it happens.
Throughout this course you will look in more detail at the shape these threats take, why your institution may be susceptible and explain how you can take measures to keep information safe. There is no limit to the number of times you can take the course – it can be accessed anytime, so there will always be an opportunity to refresh your understanding. There is a quiz at the end of the course and the pass mark is 90%. You can re-take the exam should you need to.
If at the end of the course, you feel that you might require additional guidance; directions will be given to alternative sources of information and advice. Once the course is complete you will receive a QR code to register your attendance and please upload a picture of your pass mark as evidence of your successful completion to Inkpath.
