Welcome to Beit
Beit Hall, located within the bustling Beit Quad, is one of our most historic buildings. Opened in 1908, Beit Hall offers a beautiful setting in the heart of South Kensington, sitting on the edge of Hyde Park and located next door to the world famous Royal Albert Hall.
The Imperial College Union is also located within the Quad, meaning convenient and easy access to FiveSixEight, Metric and Union Bar.

About Aileen
Hi Guys, a big welcome to Imperial College (and Beit in particular, pronounced "Bite"). If you are new to London, I hope you start to love it as much as I do. We have an amazing location in the heart of South Kensington so do make the most of exploring what's going on around here! I am currently completing my PhD in Chemistry and so I might see some of you in the Chemistry labs over the next 9 months, or otherwise at some of our regular events in the Halls.

About Margherita
H i everyone! Welcome to Imperial, and welcome to your new home, Beit Hall! I'm Margherita, a first-year PhD student in Bioengineering working on cancer immunotherapy. Having completed my undergraduate studies in Molecular Bioengineering here at Imperial, I know how exciting (and sometimes overwhelming) moving away from home can be. I'm here to support you as you settle in!
A bit about me: I'm from Venice, Italy, and I love visiting home whenever I can. I enjoy playing the piano, outdoor sports like kayaking, hiking, climbing, and skiing, and I also practice martial arts.
Feel free to reach out if you ever need anything or just want to chat - I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you!

About Sunil
Hey everyone! I’m Sunil Rawat, originally from India and now deep into my PhD in Mechanical Engineering here at Imperial College London. Oh, and I also get to be one of the subwardens at Beit Hall, which means I’m here to help make your life easier (and a bit more fun too!).
A few quick things about me—I’m a massive cricket fan (I’m always up for a cricket chat). When I’m not studying or watching cricket, you’ll probably find me in the kitchen cooking up some awesome Indian food (trust me, my chai/milk tea is legendary!). I’m also really into Hindi poetry and love to dabble in charcoal and oil painting when I get the time.
We’re all here to make your hall experience amazing, so don’t hesitate to reach out! Let’s make some great memories together at Beit Hall and enjoy the ride. Looking forward to getting to know you all!

About George
Hi everyone, I’m George, a PhD student in Electronic Engineering within the semiconductor department at Imperial. Welcome to Beit! I’m the sub-warden for the S2 corridor, and this is my first year here as well. London has so much to offer, so make sure to explore the city and take advantage of the many activities available. Imperial also has hundreds of societies you can get involved in, so don’t hesitate to dive in. My best advice is to build a strong social network while you’re here. The academic workload and the pace of life can be demanding, so it’s important to take time to relax and enjoy yourself with friends. Have a fantastic time, and feel free to say hi!
