Flexible image and text cards work in the same way as existing flexible content with which you may already be familiar - you create flexible items in a hidden folder, and then add a widget to the page on which you want them to display. Flexible content blocks  are designed to allow you to mix and match a number of different types of flexible items in a grid on your page.

The main difference with this new type - flexible image and text cards - is that they should only be used with other flexible image and text cards of the same kind (and not mixed with any other type of flexible content).

Trying to add them alongside other flexible content types will cause alignment and display issues, so please avoid this.

What is a good use for this content type?

Flexible image and text cards offer a great way to link off to important subsections of your site, whether from a landing page or a standard content page.

Because each block requires an image, it's a good way to add some colour to your site as well while highlighting and linking off to important areas, making it easier for any site visitors to navigate.

Compatible page layouts

This content type works on all page layouts.

Example of Flexible image and text cards
