Who should attend?

Digital accessibility is a legal and ethical requirement that supports equal opportunities, diverse perspectives, and respectful interactions for all students, especially those with different learning needs. 

This workshop aims to enhance your skills in creating and delivering online and face-to-face lectures that meet the needs of your diverse learners. The workshop is aimed at Faculty of Medicine staff who are involved in creating/ building digital content.  

In the first part of the workshop, you will learn about digital accessibility and identify different types of accessibility needs and disabilities that affect student learning.  

In the second part of the workshop, you will apply digital accessibility principles, practices, criteria, and students’ feedback to create, evaluate, and improve your teaching materials and methods. This will enhance student learning experiences, educational quality, and innovation. We hope you have a positive and productive experience in this workshop.
