The project team have worked with Faculties to collate case studies on assessment types from across College. You can find case studies from the faculties listed:
- Business School
- Faculty of Medicine
- Faculty of Engineering
- Faculty of Natural Sciences
Each case study listed on the A-Z list will include the following:
- Summary of the case study (available to download) – the summary provides basic overview of a given case study. It’s purpose is to familiarise the reader with some basics of decisions involved in design and implementation. The purpose of the summary is to give you enough information to decide whether you would like to explore a given example in greater detail.
- A Short version of the case study including: advantages, disadvantages and advice (available to download) - a printable short version of the case study of an example of assessment practice.
- The full case study including: advantages, disadvantages, advice and perspectives from Imperial experts (available to download) – a printable version of a detailed account of a given example of assessment practice. It’s designed to give as much information as possible for anyone wanting to implement a similar method. This version of the case study will also incorporate perspectives from Imperial experts such as (educational developers, learning designers, inclusivity, registry and careers).
- An interactive version of the full case study (Infogram) – a version containing the same level of detail as the printable version but presented differently. To access insights from experts just hover over a coloured dot.
- Additional downloadable materials – materials that staff created for the purpose of assessment that can be useful for anybody else implementing a similar approach such as feedback forms, marking schemes etc
- Interviews with Imperial experts – short clips of Imperial experts elaborating on some of the written points in the case study
