Who should attend

This course should be attended by all staff or postgraduate students who work with compressed gases and connecting regulators in a laboratory environment.

Delegates will also practice manual handling techniques associated with moving a gas cylinder on a trolley. This should be supplemented with local training, where appropriate. Delegates must wear appropriate footwear, sturdy, robust footwear or steel toecap safety boots—no trainers or open-toe sandals.

How to book

Delegates must complete the relevant e-learning session: Compressed gases and connecting gas regulators e-learning, before making the booking request.
You will be emailed a unique ID and a link to a booking form on successfully completing the e-learning module.
Cancellation charges apply for this programme: If a delegate cancels the course five days before the first day, we will charge a £50 cancellation fee.

Pre-course work

Participants must complete the relevant e-learning session, Compressed gases and connecting gas regulators e-learning, before making the booking request.
Participants must also read the Code of Practice – Gases CoP Safe handling.
