Yun Zhong (Nikki) recently joined the Personal Robotics Lab as a first-year PhD student in October 2021. Her current research focuses on human behaviour understanding and human-robot interaction.
Prior to joining the lab, she had spent two years in Huawei Hong Kong Research Center as a Firmware Engineer where her research focuses on deep learning chips development and verification. She also spent another year at the Chinese University of Hong Kong as a Research Assistant working on human action recognition and pose estimation.
Nikki completed her MRes degree in Robotics at UCL and her undergraduate degree in Electronic Engineering at UWE, Bristol.
