Vinicius Schettino
Vinicius Schettino is a PhD student at the Personal Robotics Lab since October 2017. He received his BEng and MEng degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, Brazil, and developed his master thesis project at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), while working for the LHC experiment. His studies are jointly funded by CAPES and CEFET-MG, Brazil, where at the latter he's also a lecturer since 2014.
His research interests lie in using machine learning techniques to improve human-robot interaction. His current focus is on shared driving control for people with mobility impairments and learning of assistance by demonstration.
