Caterina Buizza
Caterina started her PhD in the Personal Robotics Lab in October 2016 after graduating from a MSci degree in Mathematics at Imperial College London with a first class honours. In the last two years of her undergraduate studies she focused on fluid dynamics and numerical methods, writing her Master's thesis with Dr. Dan Moore.
Caterina is primarily interested in very early mobility assistance devices for children suffering from very severe motor disabilities and the impact that independent mobility can have on cognitive development.
