Many of our postgraduate courses and most of our staff are based at the South Kensington Campus, but several of our postgraduate courses are held at Silwood Park, our campus in Berkshire near Ascot. The latter have formal links and joint appointments with both the Natural History Museum (London), the Royal Botanical Gardens (Kew), the zoological Society of London and the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust.
The Department of Life Sciences works closely with employers and industry, including Industrial Advisory Panels, to design Masters courses which provide graduates with technical knowledge, expertise and transferable skills and to encourage students to take internships and placements. All our courses are designed with employer needs in mind with some Masters courses accredited by Professional, Statutory and Regulatory Bodies.

You can also view a selection of videos about the Department of Life Sciences, our campuses and courses.
We also have some projects, publications and testimonials from past students about their experiences in the Department as well as information about our alumni.
