Chemistry Department Masters Scholarships

Scholarship for students of Black heritage - Chemistry Dept.

Our Chemistry Department Scholarship for students of Black heritage provide financial support for Home students of Black heritage that have applied and been made an offer to study on one of our Chemistry Masters courses.  The scholarship covers the full cost of Home tuition fees for the Masters course as well as a bursary that is equal to the current UKRI PhD bursary rate for students in London.

This scholarship follows the same eligibility criteria and application process as for the Presidential Scholarships for Students of Black Heritage access the link here: Presidential Scholarships for Students of Black Heritage Information.

You must have applied, received and accepted an offer for your chosen course as well as completed the Presidential Scholarships application form by the scholarship deadline. This has now closed for entry in October 2024.

India Future Leaders Scholarship

The Imperial College Future Leaders Scholarship will enable outstanding graduates from India to equip themselves with the skills and expertise they need to take the next step in their personal and professional journey. 

To be eligible for the Imperial College - India Future Leaders Scholarship you must: be a domicile of India, be available to commence your studies by the start of the UK academic year in October 2024, have submitted an application to study on one of our Chemistry Masters courses and have received an offer to study by 11 May 2024.

You must have applied, received and accepted an offer for your chosen course as well as notified the Chemistry department (chemres@imperial.ac.uk) that you would like to be considered for this scholarship by the scholarship deadline. This has now closed for entry in October 2024.

Jack Hirst Scholarship in Chemistry

The Jack Hirst Scholarship in Chemistry provides financial support for students who are Nigerian nationals and are studying/researching in the field of Chemistry at a Nigerian academic institution at the time of their application. Applicants must have applied and been made an offer to study on one of our Chemistry Masters courses.  

The scholarship covers the full cost of the tuition fees for the Masters course as well as a bursary that is equal to the current UKRI PhD bursary rate for students in London.

This scholarship is only open to Nigerian nationals that are studying/researching in the field of Chemistry at a Nigerian academic institution at the time of their application. Applications that do not meet this criteria cannot be considered

You must have applied, received and accepted an offer for your chosen course as well as completed the Jack Hirst Scholarship application form by the scholarship deadline. This has now closed for entry in October 2024.
