David Qian
My name is Chenwei Qian, or you can call me David, and I’m from China. I graduated from the Department of Chemistry, at the University of Sheffield. I chose the Molecular Engineering MRes as my postgraduate course out of personal interest and family influence. Participating in several previous experiments and trial productions has prompted me to push my experimental results into actual production. To achieve this goal, I need to have a greater in-depth knowledge of molecular design and chemical engineering. Also, some of my family members are engaged in this type of work. This is why I chose this course. I wish to work in some companies that have strong R&D ability relating to new materials.
In addition to studying, I like to play tennis or watch tennis matches, find some ‘strange’ cooking recipes, and enjoy hanging out with my camera.
