My name is Yijun Yu and I come from Jiangxi, China. I majored in Chemistry in Beijing Normal University in my undergraduate. I studied Bio-organic Chemistry and analytical Chemistry research projects when I was in my undergraduate. The reason why I chose the MRes at Imperial college is that it provides me with opportunities to collaborate. The three months’ placement in industry will also enable me to gain a high-level perspective of the challenges in research. When I finish the MRes, I'm considering doing a PhD or else working in industry.
In my spare time, I like taking photograghs and updating my social media to have fun.
