From Shanghai, China, I got my bachelor’s degree in applied chemistry at the East China University of Science and Technology. I also spent one year at Queen’s University Belfast, Northern Ireland, as an exchange student where I did my graduation project. In that project, I designed molecular logic gates and synthesized them. I love the feeling of designing and engineering molecules to realize some interesting functions, this is why I choose to do this course. After the MRes, I would like to to pursue my PhD and explore more about the molecular world.
I love playing table tennis, cooking Peking Roast Duck, listening to music and learning different languages. I also like to travel, either by walking, riding, or Chinese old green train.
