The Society and College of Radiographers

The Society of Radiographers is the trade union and professional body for those working in clinical imaging, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, radiotherapy and oncology in the UK. The College of Radiographers is a registered charity which promotes imaging and radiotherapy education, research, and innovation. Together, we are The Society and College of Radiographers. As a professional body we set the standards for the profession. In the workplace, we ensure imaging professionals work in a safe and fair environment. As a charity, we ensure patients are at the heart of everything we do.

National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR)

 

The NIHR Academy provides training and support to health and care researchers at all stages of their careers. Our mission is to develop a highly skilled academic research workforce that is capable of advancing the best research. This will benefit society and improve our health and the economy. We will address the health and social care challenges of the future.

We develop researchers to deliver leading research. We attract, train and support health and care researchers. 

We fund and support:
•    personal career development funding awards
•    institutional career development funding awards
•    training and academic career development within NIHR infrastructure, schools and capacity building structures

Registration closes on 19 February 2025. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis, so early booking is advised to avoid disappointment.
