The London Core Surgery Skills & Anatomy Programme, the first of its kind in the UK, is part of Imperial College's London School of Surgery Training Programme. It consists of regular consultant-led teaching sessions that form a compulsory part of training for CT1 Surgical trainees. The programme is tailored to the needs of CT1 trainees in order to provide more in-depth knowledge in surgical anatomy and to prepare trainees for their Anatomy Demonstrator role at CT2; the aim of the programme is to deliver teaching on human anatomy of the whole body using cadaveric prosections and radiological anatomy (e.g., MRI).
All anatomy training sessions will be held at Charing Cross Hospital.
