Imperial's partnership with the Armed Forces College of Medicine (AFCM)
The Collaborative Partnerships Office works with academic across the Faculty of Medicine to foster partnerships with overseas institutions, such as the Armed Forces College of Medicine (AFCM) in Cairo, Egypt.
In the summer of 2018, Imperial hosted the first Clinical Placement Programme for 10 students from AFCM. The programme now takes place annually and has been hugely successful in providing Egyptian students with a taste of clinical education in Imperial's partner hospitals.
