Biography
Dr Farzana Hussain lives and works in Newham, East London. She has been a GP principal at The Project Surgery for 20 years and looks after a list of 5000 patients. She is also a mum of two teenagers. She is a Primary Care Network Clinical Director for Newham Central 1. Dr Hussain has had previous national roles as Co-Chair of the National Primary Care Network at NHS Confederation and has been on the board of the National Association of Primary Care. In 2019 she was awarded GP of the Year. Her philosophy as a GP is to be able to connect and comfort even when we can’t cure.
