Applications for our Maintenance Apprenticeship Scheme are now closed.

Imperial has a vast estate, spread across several sites in London and the South East. We need skilled Maintenance Technicians to keep these buildings and facilities working, providing a safe and functional environment for our students, staff, and visitors. Apprentices are supported to develop the skills and knowledge needed to provide a range of preventative and reactive maintenance to building systems. Over the four-year apprenticeship, you will work towards becoming a fully qualified Maintenance Technician - a profession that is always in demand!

Academic Technology Approval Scheme (ATAS)

With effect from 21 May 2021, any individual who will be undertaking research activities, at PhD level or above, in one of the Academic Subjects/Fields of Research relevant to ATAS will be required to obtain a free of charge ATAS certificate before they can apply for a visa to work in the UK. This will include research, academic, engineering and technician staff applying for Skilled Worker visas. Some exemptions apply.
