Pavlos was born in Karditsa, Greece in 1993. Following his mandatory education, he was accepted into the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, from where he acquired a First-Class Honours M.Eng. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2017. His M.Eng. thesis, “Accelerometer Data Processing for the Recognition of Hand Movements", was carried on under the supervision of Professors Leontios Hadjileontiadis and Christos Antonopoulos, and in collaboration with the George Papanikolaou General Hospital of Thessaloniki. He is currently a PhD Candidate under Toshiba Research Europe Ltd., with a secondment at the Imperial College of London. His academic interests are centred around Machine Learning (including Deep Learning), Pattern Recognition, Signal Processing and Wireless networks.
His further interests include music (pipe organ) and literature.
