How does climate change affect our mental health?
Challenges affecting our planet also affect our minds, communities and healthcare systems, and there is growing evidence that climate change can have direct and indirect effects on mental health. Since 2020, the Grantham Institute has collaborated with the Institute of Global Health Innovation to create Climate Cares, a team dedicated to understanding and supporting mental health in the current climate and ecological crises.
