AB - Treating accident victims is a critical issue, and to address this, engineers collaborate with medical professionals and hospitals to develop engineering solutions. These solutions include using finite element analysis to adjust the alignment of fractured bones/skull and utilizing 3D printing or metal additive manufacturing to create implants. In our research, we did obtained the CT scan for the skull/tibia bone that was damaged in a road accident. We then performed finite element analysis to determine the forces involved in causing the disruption/fracture. Following this analysis, we manufactured implants made from Ti-6Al-4V/SS-316L material. These implants were used to repair and correctly orient the damaged skull/tibia bone, ensuring its proper functionality.
