The Case Study Series is an exciting programme of talks and activities and each Case Study focussed on one or two SDGs. Representatives from business, NGOs and policy talked about how they are tackling those SDGs, highlighting the challenges they face and the opportunities for future innovation.
The first Case Study, also held at East Hampstead Park, explored SDGs 7 and 12. The morning looked at SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy. BBOXX presented their work on off-grid solar cells in sub-Saharan Africa and the Moving Energy Initiative presented on the challenges they face providing energy solutions to displaced populations. The afternoon focussed on Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production. Climate-KIC start-up NER talked on their sustainable paper production business and Waitrose and Forum for the Future presented on the future of sustainable food production.
