The Centre for Health Policy is a research centre of Imperial's Institute of Global Health Innovation (IGHI). IGHI forms part of Imperial’s strategy to find solutions to global challenges by focusing multidisciplinary research expertise on addressing international issues.
The Centre:
- Creates high-quality, clinically-driven research on the most important strategic challenges facing health systems;
- Supports the development of innovative health policy through bridging gaps between the academia, the public and private sectors, and policy-makers;
- Diffuses the best in evidence-based policy globally through its partnership with the Qatar Foundation on the World Innovation Summit for Health (WISH);
- Develops the next generation of policy-makers through an innovative two-year, part-time MSc in Health Policy.
Our mission
We work to catalyse the development, uptake and diffusion of innovative, evidence-based health policies around the world. Our work is focused on health policy development, the diffusion of innovation, patient safety, e-health and informatics (including Big Data), behavioural economics, quality outcome metrics and the economic analysis of healthcare practices.
