Please join us for a short act of remembrance and personal reflection, dedicated to members of the university killed during the two world wars.
The event will begin at 10.55 with an introduction, including information from the university archives. At 11.00 there will be a two–minute silence to remember all those killed in conflict.
A British Legion wreath will be laid in honour of those mentioned by name on the university memorials, and flowers will be laid to remember those killed in contemporary conflicts.
The event is open to all staff, students, alumni and friends. No registration is required.
Please gather at 10.50 by the big screen inside the main entrance
The event has been prepared by Andrew Willson, the University Chaplain, and Anne Barrett, the University Archivist and Corporate Records Manager.
