St Cecilia 
This week’s Evensong celebrates St Cecilia, the patron saint of music and musicians. We have music by Palestrina, Gibbons and Britten, and Responses by Maria Portela, a PhD student in Bioengineering.
College Evensong is sung by Imperial’s student Chamber Choir. It is an ancient pattern of evening prayer combining music, words, and silence to create a time for personal reflection and stillness (whatever your faith or worldview). The services regularly use music written by current students and women composers.
