We will hear from Professor Pantelis Georgiou, Professor of Biomedical Electronics in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, about his journey from studying at the Grammar School, Nicosia to studying for both an undergraduate and PhD at Imperial. Professor Georgiou is now a professor at Imperial and the head of the Bio-inspired Metabolic Technology Laboratory in the Centre for Bio-Inspired Technology; a multi-disciplinary group that invents, develops and demonstrates advanced micro-devices to meet global challenges in biomedical science and healthcare.
