Our second-year undergraduate students in Mechanical Engineering are giving technical presentations on a scientific topic their interested in – we’d like to invite year 12 and 13 groups for a unique opportunity to be their audience to experience what it’s like being a student studying STEM here at Imperial.
Mechanical engineers create, manufacture and maintain the building blocks of the modern world – from cars and buildings through to aeroplanes and space stations. Mechanical engineering combines science, maths and computing with creativity and imagination, to solve problems and create solutions.
In the 90-minute session, your students will hear six talks on a range of mechanical engineering topics with the chance to ask any questions they may have. The sessions are running for six weeks during October to December and we invite you to join one of them:
• Tuesdays 16.00-17.30 from 29 October to 3 December 2024
• Thursdays 10.00-11.30 from 31 October to 5 December 2024
This is a great opportunity for your students to see what undergraduate students learn, get a feel for engineering and explore our South Kensington Campus. Please fill in the booking form to express interest in date/s and we will confirm your session by email.
