vICM overlay conference, Imperial College London
8 to 12 July 2022
Overview
The 2022 edition of the International Congress of Mathematicians will be taking place virtually and, as a consequence, speakers and participants were deprived of the opportunity to interact… To mitigate this dire situation, we are organising an in person overlay / satellite meeting aiming to mainly cover the Sections 15, 17 and 18 lectures as well as a number of the vICM plenary lectures. Please download the conference poster and display it in your department!
Speakers
Confirmed in-person speakers so far include Keith Ball, Jacob Bedrossian, Kevin Buzzard, Alison Etheridge, Craig Gentry, Jan Hesthaven, Nick Higham, Hyeonbae Kang, Igor Krichever, Sylvie Méléard, Laure Saint-Raymond, David Silver, Eric Vanden-Eijnden, and Vlad Vicol.
A preliminary schedule will be available soon. Talks will follow the vICM schedule as much as possible, probably starting Friday around 12 noon (slot 8a) and finishing Tuesday around 3pm (slot 12c).
Registration and venue
Please follow this link to register. We will be asking for a registration fee of about £25. All lectures will take place in the City and Guilds Building (room 200) which can accessed from the College’s main entrance on Exhibition Road.
