The Schools Physicist of the Year Award celebrates the talent of exceptional students studying Physics in all of the local area’s schools. The programme for the evening is outlined below. Pupils are invited to bring family guests and should let their teacher know who and how many guests will be attending. The maximum is 3 guests, and no young children please.

- Student award winners arrive with families and teachers
- Physics demonstrations
- Food and light refreshments served in the foyer
7:15pm
- Lecture
7:45pm
- Official presentation of awards and prizes.
- Opportunity to have individual photographs taken
