Need to dash to other campuses?

College members can catch the free Imperial campus shuttle bus.

Shuttle Bus Update: New White City Campus Access Route from 9th December

From 9th December, the shuttle bus will access the White City campus via the new bridge, entering and exiting from the south entrance. The bus stop under the A40 flyover will remain the same.

Please note, this arrangement will be in place until the road works on Wood Lane are complete in 2025.

Timings of last services on 20th December 2024

Imperial will close on Friday 20 December 2024. The final departure times will be:

  • 15:00 from Hammersmith
  • 15:10 from White City (to South Kensington)
  • 15:15 from South Kensington

How it works

  • No need to book: With an expanded fleet of buses now in place, there is no need to pre-book your journey. You’ll simply be able to hop on and hop off (capacity allowing) at any of our stops. Buses at peak times – normally 8.00-9.15 and 17.00 onwards - are likely to be very busy.
  • Eastbound or Westbound: In line with Transport for London, we will display each journey as an ‘eastbound’ or ‘westbound’ service. The eastbound service will travel between Hammersmith and South Kensington, whilst the westbound service will run between South Kensington and Hammersmith.

The shuttle bus service is wheelchair accessible.
