I study governance systems that support agroecology as a tool to restore agroecosystems and improve the livelihoods of peasant communities in Northeast Brazil.
Outside work, I love spending time with my family and friends, trying new recipes and listening to good music. I also love playing Brazilian folk music, dancing and playing football.
I am proud to be a Latin American student at Imperial, whose research can contribute to improving the lives of small farmers in one of the poorest regions in Brazil. I am also proud to be a feminist mother determined to teaching my daughter about the importance of treating people equally and respectfully.
