Our undergraduate courses enable graduates to secure professional recognition early in their careers through joining a relevant Engineering Institution. All our degrees automatically provide graduates with exemption to the first stage of full Chartered Engineer recognition by the Engineering Council.

Each course contains activities that combine deep engineering understanding with the ability to apply this in imaginative ways to the solution of practical problems. The Royal Academy of Engineering (RAEng) regards such activity as the goal of a modern and vibrant engineering course.

Benefits of becoming a Chartered Engineer:

  • The status of being part of a technological elite
  • Recognition of your expertise by professional peers
  • International recognition of your qualifications
  • Improved career prospects
  • Greater influence within your organisation and industry
  • Access to life-long learning
