Eligibility
Fully funded PhD studentships cover the cost of Home/EU fees, an annual maintenance grant (at the RCUK specified rate plus London weighting) plus a contribution towards research costs.
As a guideline, EPSRC funded studentships are available to Home/EU students only (home students are eligible for a full award and EU students are eligible for a fees only award).
The Faculty of Engineering offers a range of PhD studentships to Home, EU and International students.
We support world leading research through innovation in core engineering disciplines and the development and application of novel engineering solutions to major world and societal problems.
We are seeking high calibre graduates in a range of engineering disciplines to undertake PhDs in each of our departments. Successful candidates will form part of a cohort of PhD students working on intellectually challenging multidisciplinary projects within a variety of themes.
