Inspirational career lectures are held in the department by guest speakers, showcasing a variety of roles and career pathways. The lectures are open to all students, and organised by Dr Peter Johnson.

Inspirational Lecture- Karsten Roenner
Karsten Roenner is a seasoned entrepreneur who served in various leadership-roles in global multi-national companies and in 8 start-ups in Germany, Norway, UK and with Siemens / Infineon in Japan and Silicon Valley. Since June 2019, Karsten leads grow global, the worldwide network of Innovation Hubs of Robert Bosch GmbH, with 8 locations in Asia, the Americas, Africa, Europe and the Middle East.
