Exchange students accepted into the Department of Mechanical Engineering must choose to follow one of two streams, Intermediate or Advanced. These broadly align with the programme of study for our second year (Intermediate Stream) or third and fourth year (Advanced Stream) students.

If you are taking the Advanced Stream you can choose from the following modules.
Please note Term 1 refers to Autumn Term, and Term 2 refers to Spring Term. The majority of modules are taught across both terms, with examinations and project assessments taking place in Summer Term (Term 3).
We recommend that if you home institution requires you to take 60 ECTS you include either the Final Year Individual Project (MECH70007), or the Design, Make and Test (MECH60003) and Professional Engineering Skills 3 (MECH 60015) modules in your module selection.
