Title
Extreme Performance Tuning: Reducing Latency and Jitter on Intel CPU
Abstract
A detailed look at tuning Intel CPUs and Linux for low latency. Dan will cover preparing and configuring the CPU, defining cache policies, trimming the fat from the Linux kernel, and designing code to work in harmony with hardware. Much of the tuning methods will be familiar to PC gamers, who share many of the same tuning goals that we use to make our servers perform optimally
