It is our absolute honour and pleasure to welcome you to London for the 39th International Electric Propulsion Conference (IEPC) from 14 to 19 September 2025.
Coming to the United Kingdom and London for the very first time, this edition of the conference serves as an exciting opportunity to showcase the long heritage of the UK in EP as well as the endeavours and the initiatives of the academic and industrial communities across the nation to help address the challenges and the novel frontiers of our field toward the future.
Featuring the theme of “Electric Propulsion, a Gateway to the Cosmos”, we hope the conference provides all of you with ample opportunities for thought-provoking and engaging technical exchanges and discussions, enabling the global EP community to coordinate and consolidate its roadmaps and directions of progress for the greater good of the society and to realise the humanity’s aspirations to explore outer space.
We are a unique family of many backgrounds and cultures, united in our shared interests and ambitions for a truly fascinating field that bridges physics and engineering in distinct ways that do not have many parallel examples across sciences. This is a core principle that has brought us together for each edition of the IEPC since the 1970s, and we firmly believe in this global and diverse nature of our research community.
To provide our community members with as many occasions as possible to reconnect, catch up, and collectively enjoy the conference, we have foreseen several social events, excursions, and visits, the details of which you can find on the relevant pages.
