Facilities and Building Projects Manager
Zia is responsible for the building and projects across its approx. 20,000 m2 of department space – managing facilities, space utilisation and major refurbishments. He is also our Department Safety Officer and provides guidance to staff and students in line with the Safety Policy, and co-ordinates staff development and training programmes.

Facilities and Safety Support Officer
Vale is responsible for monitoring the effective provision of building facilities, and liaising with the Estates Division for building defects. She assists in facilitating repairs and building work, with a particular focus on health and safety, and is our point of contact for furniture set-up requests in classrooms and meeting rooms.

Aurelio De Sousa Ferreira

General Technician
Aurelio is responsible for our building's housekeeping, and ensuring that classrooms are tidy and furniture is set up correctly for teaching, exams and other department events. He also assists with the porterage of minor equipment.
