(OLAV BECKMANN PROJECT PRIZE - WINNER)
Poptipings is an online, multiplayer "last-person-standing" game, in the style of indie hit Gang Beasts. Each player controls a "Poptiping", a spherical rolling object which can blow other Poptipings (and itself!) around with powerful gusts of wind.
The game features a variety of maps in which each player is given three lives. The game uses round-based gameplay. When a Poptiping is blown (or falls) off the map, it loses a life, and waits in "limbo" until all but one player remains. This remaining player does not lose a life in this round.
The winner is the only player who does not finish with zero lives, with the game terminating when all but one player has no lives left. The winner of the game is awarded credits, which they can spend in the store to equip their Poptiping with items such as sunglasses, a moustache or a crown.
