She works on theoretical biology, using her background in mathematics to explore tempo in development, and is keen to make the PhD experience as smooth as possible for people of all backgrounds. Yassin Ben Khoud - Year 1 Representative
My focus is understanding the mechanism of activation of ER stress signalling along with further understanding ER QC mechanisms. Using a biochemical and structural biology-based approach including cryo-EM, I will analyse associated proteins of the ER stress systems to understand the mechanism of activation and its link towards diseases such as cancer.
