Summer 2024 rates for alumni - Prince's Gardens

  • Single en suite: £97 per night
  • Double en suite (for one): £111 per night
  • Twin en suite: £125 per night 

Summer 2024 rates refer to the period of 1 July - 22 September. 

All rates shown exclude breakfast, which is available at an additional price of £14 per person, per day.

How to book

Book through Celesta Venues.

Alumni must quote "alumni special summer accommodation" and provide their alumni membership number (CID) at the time of booking to qualify for the special rates. The alumni discount can be only applied to one room per booking. If you do not know your CID number, contact alumni@imperial.ac.uk

Rates for alumni are subject to availability and must be booked by email at reservations@celestavenues.co.uk. They cannot be booked online. Please also note that Amex card payments are not accepted.

Alumni are entitled to discounts on membership at Ethos, Imperial’s premier, state-of-the-art sports centre based in South Kensington.

This four-storey facility is set on the North side of Prince's Gardens and houses:

  • The state-of-the-art Energia fitness gym
  • A 25-metre deck-level swimming pool
  • A sauna, steam room and spa pool
  • An air-conditioned exercise studio with semi-sprung flooring
  • Strength and conditioning facilities
  • Two squash courts

Evening classes

Imperial's Centre for Languages, Culture and Communication offers a 20-week evening class programme in languages, arts, humanities, business, and the sciences running from October to March.

Imperial alumni get an Associate Rate discount on any of the following classes:

  • Language: Arabic, British Sign Language (BSL), English, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin Chinese, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish.
  • Arts: Music Technology, Photography, Introduction to Film, Opera, and Art & Art History.
  • Humanities: Philosophy, Literature, and European History.
  • Science: Introduction to Science, Psychology & Neuroscience, and Human Biology & Medicine.
  • Business [NEW]: Business English, Business Studies, Innovation Strategy, and AI techniques.

Professional Development short courses

Professional Development courses

In addition to its undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses, the Centre for Continuing Professional Development presents a diverse range of cutting edge courses for professionals working in science, technology and medicine.

Alumni of Imperial College London are entitled to a 10% discount on all short courses.

Every year over 50 programmes are presented, given by leading authorities both from within and outside the College, provide the most up-to-date developments in specific areas of interest. The portfolio is regularly enriched by the introduction of new courses. Most courses are of 3 to 5 days long and others are designed on a modular basis, extending over several months. The majority of courses are taught at the South Kensington campus and are open to all on a fee paying basis. Modules from several Masters Programmes are made available as CPD short courses as an initiative to provide flexible education for full-time working professionals. Customised corporate courses can be arranged on request.

Summer School discount

The Imperial College Business School's Summer School is open to undergraduates and postgraduates who are interested in developing fundamental business principles in a strategic context. Working professionals are also accepted if they have less than five year's work experience.

Subjects include finance, entrepreneurship, business strategy and strategic marketing.

Summer School
